Seattle will always be home

Since I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest this week has been in particular heart wrenching and bittersweet for me. Happy to see a beloved series return after over 25 years, that pretty much captures the weirdness of the Northwest. (I always knew it would )…
and then the bitter loss of another beloved iconic voice of Seattle. To many he was one of our greatest rockstars, with a “golden throat”, to represent the 90’s,  to me he’ll always be a magnanimous neighbor that shared stories, a cold pitcher of beer and a place at a table at The Comet.
I am hurting along with my fellow Seattle community and friends this week, another death, another painful loss…I thought we’d be young forever and the 90’s would never end. I love and miss you guys, more than you know.
In my heart and memories Seattle will always be my home.
